BOOKING POLICY
Rental Services
To ensure a smooth and efficient rental process for all customers, the following booking policies apply to all rentals:
1. Reservation Requirements
- All bookings must be made in advance and confirmed by Legit & Co Rentals.
- A valid government-issued ID is required for every rental.
- The renter must be 18 years or older (or older if required by law for specific rentals).
2. Deposit Policy
A security deposit is required to secure your booking. Deposits may be paid via:
- Credit Card
- Cash
- Approved digital payment methods (if applicable)
Deposits are fully refundable once the rental item/vehicle is returned in the same condition it was rented in.
3. Payment Policy
- Full payment for the rental term is due on or before pickup/delivery.
- Prices are based on the current rate sheet and may vary depending on rental type, demand, or season.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental time.
- Same-day cancellations may result in a forfeit of deposit.
- No-shows are considered cancellations and deposits are non-refundable.
5. Late Fees & Return Policy
- All rental items/vehicles must be returned at the agreed-upon time.
- Late returns may incur additional charges.
- If the item is not returned within 24 hours of the due time and no communication has been made, the rental will be considered overdue and further action may be taken.
6. Damage & Liability
- The renter is fully responsible for any damages, loss, or theft during the rental period.
- A full inspection is done before and after each rental.
- Any repairs or replacement fees will be deducted from the deposit, and balances must be paid immediately.
7. Usage Policy
- Rental items/vehicles must be used responsibly and for their intended purpose only.
- Unauthorized use, reckless operation, or allowing unapproved persons to use the rental is prohibited and may result in penalties.
8. Safety & Compliance
- All renters must comply with the safety guidelines provided at the time of rental.
- Vehicles must adhere to road laws and regulations.
- Any fines, violations, or penalties during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter.
9. Changes to Booking
- Any changes to your booking (dates, times, extensions) must be approved and may affect pricing.
- Extensions are subject to availability.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking, the renter acknowledges and agrees to all terms listed in this Booking Policy.
